Supervisor - Retail Management (14 Hour Permanent Contract)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Supervisor to join our team at Seasalt in Penzance on a 14-hour permanent contract. As a Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional customer service and supporting the management team in creating a customer-centric culture. What You'll Do

• Support the management team in fostering a service culture that prioritizes customer satisfaction.
• Guide the Sales Advisor team on recommending additional services to enhance sales, including omni-channel selling.
• Assist in driving store sales, profitability, and consistent KPI achievement.
• Implement visual merchandising standards to maximize commercial opportunities.
• Train the Sales Advisor team on product knowledge and brand values.
• Communicate store performance metrics to the team and stakeholders, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Support store operations, including stock management, loss prevention, and health and safety compliance.
• Act as a key-holder and take responsibility for store operations when required.

Requirements

• Strong coaching and leadership skills, with a passion for inspiring team members.
• Commercial mindset with a focus on driving sales and achieving KPIs.
• Ability to handle difficult situations with resilience and adaptability.
• Confidence in providing feedback and sharing ideas to improve performance.
• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience in visual merchandising.
• Knowledge of retail sales strategies.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a retail environment.
