Senior CMS Developer - PrestaShop & WordPress Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior CMS Developer to join our team remotely. As a Senior CMS Developer, you will leverage your expertise in PrestaShop and WordPress to create exceptional eCommerce solutions. What You'll Do

• Develop and implement complete eCommerce stores using PrestaShop and WordPress, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Configure functionalities and integrations such as payment gateways, ERP, CRM, AI plugins, and marketplaces.
• Customize themes and templates to meet client specifications, enhancing user experience and engagement.
• Conduct technical analysis of requirements and propose effective solutions that align with business goals.
• Manage version control of code using Git, ensuring collaborative and efficient development processes.
• Draft technical documentation, including project reports and functional analyses, to support project transparency.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience working with CMS platforms, specifically PrestaShop and WordPress/WooCommerce.
• Strong technical skills in HTML5, CSS3, PHP, and JavaScript.
• Proficient in MySQL databases and version control tools (Git).
• Experience in theme customization, hooks, and module/plugin development, with familiarity in templates like Warehouse (PrestaShop) and builders like Elementor (WordPress).
• Ability to lead development projects autonomously and take technical responsibility.
• Structured and collaborative work approach, with experience in agile methodologies.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Liquid (Shopify), Twig (PrestaShop), and block development in WordPress.
• Experience with PrestaShop Webservice and REST APIs for WordPress and Shopify.
• Understanding of PrestaShop and Shopify modules and extensions.
• Experience with logistics integrations and marketplaces (Amazon, Miravia, etc.).
• High level of technical English for documentation and code comprehension.
