About the Role

We are seeking a Principal QA Test Engineer - AI-Driven Testing to join our innovative team at Palo Alto Networks. As a Principal QA Test Engineer, you will design and implement autonomous QA workflows that leverage AI to achieve unprecedented test coverage and efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement autonomous QA workflows using AI agents and LLM-based testing frameworks for continuous, intelligent test execution.
• Build AI-powered test generation systems that automatically create comprehensive test suites from requirements and production telemetry.
• Develop intelligent test oracles using LLMs to validate complex system behaviors and user experiences.
• Create AI-assisted defect prediction systems to proactively identify reliability and security risks.
• Lead root cause analysis for production incidents and implement durable fixes that enhance product quality.
• Drive systematic quality improvements through data-driven insights, reducing vulnerability remediation time.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align quality strategy with business outcomes.
• Mentor team members on AI/ML testing techniques and modern quality practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in QA/Test Automation Engineering with a proven impact on product quality.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies, including LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or Go for test automation and AI workflow development.
• Experience with AI-powered test generation and autonomous test execution.
• Deep expertise in cybersecurity and distributed systems testing.
• Proficiency with observability platforms and cloud providers.
• Experience with test management systems and defect tracking.

Nice to Have

• Experience with browser security solutions and AI agents for software testing.
• Background in building multi-agent systems and orchestration frameworks.
• Contributions to open-source testing frameworks or AI/ML testing tools.
