What You'll Do

• Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from various systems (e.g., D365) and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau) to support audit planning and fieldwork.
• Design and execute automated audit tests using data analytics tools to identify anomalies, control breakdowns, and potential fraud.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations to enable continuous auditing and risk monitoring across business units.
• Liaise with stakeholders on the progress of action items and act as a liaison between the IT/Data teams and the Internal Audit team.
• Translate complex data findings into clear and simple, business-focused audit reports and recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing audit processes, reducing manual testing efforts and increasing audit coverage through data-driven methodologies.
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data used throughout the audit lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Data Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in data analytics, internal audit, IT audit, or a related function.
• High proficiency in data querying and manipulation languages (e.g., SQL, Python, or R).
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik).
• Familiarity with audit-specific analytics software (e.g., Alteryx, ACL/Galvanize, IDEA).
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with advanced analytics, machine learning concepts, or process mining tools (e.g., Celonis).
• Professional certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or data-specific certifications.
• Understanding of standard business processes (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Payroll) and associated internal controls.
