Junior Python Developer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Python Developer to join our engineering team remotely. This Junior Python Developer remote position is ideal for entry-level candidates or early-career professionals eager to build scalable backend systems, develop APIs, and work on cloud-based applications.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Python.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Assist in database design and SQL query optimization.
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues.
• Participate in code reviews and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Support CI/CD deployment processes.
• Contribute to microservices-based architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related STEM field.
• 0–2 years of experience (internship or academic projects acceptable).
• Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Nice to Have

• Prior internship or project experience using Python.
• Experience building APIs or backend services.
• Exposure to cloud deployment.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
