Senior Business Analyst - Technology Strategy & Architecture (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst - Technology, Strategy & Architecture to join our dynamic team at the Bank of England. This Senior Business Analyst remote position is pivotal in enabling the Bank to achieve its objectives through technology change initiatives. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to elicit, analyze, and create a shared understanding of requirements, ensuring the successful implementation of our change initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Develop a deep understanding of the Bank's business areas and functions, identifying their change needs and desired outcomes.
• Elicit, analyze, define, and document business processes and requirements using appropriate BA artifacts.
• Manage the requirements lifecycle for data and systems implementations based on internal changes and external legislative initiatives.
• Establish and maintain agreement between business customers and solution providers on requirements.
• Investigate and communicate the current and future state using business analysis tools and techniques.
• Champion innovation and collaboration within the BA Community of Practice through knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst on complex projects, ideally within financial or regulatory environments.
• Ability to produce clear analysis artifacts such as process maps, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in applying standard business analysis tools and methods.
• Solid knowledge of project delivery and product management approaches (Agile and/or Waterfall).

Nice to Have

• 5+ years of experience at a Lead or Senior Business Analyst level.
• Experience in data management, including analysis and integration.
• Exposure to Cloud, CRM, and AI technologies.
