What You'll Do

  • Engage actively in shaping our product roadmap and your career trajectory.
  • Collaborate with your team to deliver new features, iterating based on user feedback.
  • Drive projects from initial ideation to operational deployment, ensuring a seamless experience for customers.
  • Contribute to our open-source culture by participating in projects beyond your immediate team.
  • Design, build, operate, and maintain critical backend systems, ensuring reliability and performance.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, taking ownership of the services you manage.
  • Mentor team members and engage in design discussions to foster collaboration.
  • Deepen your understanding of our cloud product and the underlying codebase of a large distributed system.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backend development with a strong understanding of distributed systems.
  • Solid programming skills in at least one language, preferably Go, but familiarity with Python, Java, C++, or Rust is also acceptable.
  • Experience in delivering projects from concept to customer delivery in a self-driven manner.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments and systems engineering principles.
  • Ability to write clean, robust, and maintainable code.
  • Excellent communication skills, essential for remote collaboration.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with alerting systems or observability tools.
  • Background in open-source contributions.
  • Knowledge of Prometheus and Grafana.
