About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer - Remote to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable and high-quality backend solutions that power our FinTech applications. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will leverage your expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS services to create innovative solutions that enhance client engagement and drive business growth.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement robust backend systems using Node.js and AWS technologies.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support frontend applications built with React and Next.js.
  • Utilize AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and other serverless technologies to create efficient, event-driven architectures.
  • Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Write unit and integration tests using Mocha and Sinon to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Continuously improve existing systems and processes to enhance performance and scalability.
  • Engage in client discussions to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a focus on Node.js and AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and serverless architectures.
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and microservices.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Terraform.
  • Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Python, GO, or Rust.
  • Knowledge of blockchain technologies and decentralized applications.
  • Familiarity with PHP and Laravel.
