Senior Active Directory Infrastructure Engineer - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Active Directory Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will participate in the large-scale implementation of complex Active Directory environments, focusing on security hardening and operational responsibilities to meet corporate security initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Operationally manage the Active Directory infrastructure across multiple environments.
• Review, investigate, and remediate any performance irregularities identified by monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with business and application teams to enhance security within Active Directory environments.
• Utilize security scanning tools to maintain compliance with published baseline security standards.
• Assist in migrating applications to the core Active Directory or cloud environments.
• Lead efforts to consolidate Active Directory environments post-mergers and acquisitions.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation and ongoing stability monitoring of Active Directory.
• Document technical processes and communicate effectively with team members.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in Active Directory infrastructure engineering.
• 8+ years in Active Directory performance management and tuning.
• 6+ years of server hardware management experience.
• 6+ years of experience with VMware ESX and Hyper-V engineering and operations.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

• Previous experience in a remote work environment.
