Senior Account Executive - Remote Sales for Crypto Industry
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our dynamic team at Blockworks, a leading information platform in the crypto industry. As a Senior Account Executive remote, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business and building relationships with key stakeholders in the crypto and financial sectors.
What You'll Do
- Drive New Business: Own the full sales cycle across a defined list of accounts, from prospecting and outreach to pitching, negotiating, and closing.
- Create Custom Solutions: Develop tailored proposals that leverage Blockworks' data, media, and events products to meet the unique needs of partners.
- Land and Expand: Build multi-threaded relationships within your accounts, closing initial deals and expanding into additional business lines.
- Work with Marquee Partners: Collaborate with CMOs, VPs of marketing, and founders at leading crypto protocols and Fortune 500 brands.
- Stay on Top of the Industry: Monitor trends in the crypto space to inform your sales strategy and engage clients effectively.
- Represent Blockworks IRL: Attend industry events to foster relationships and generate leads beyond cold outreach.
- Operate with Discipline: Maintain accurate records in the CRM and manage your pipeline rigorously.
- Raise the Bar Internally: Mentor other sales team members and contribute to the overall success of the team.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in a closing sales role, ideally within crypto, SaaS, or emerging tech.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and closing seven-figure enterprise deals.
- Ability to manage a book of business with accountability and creativity.
- Strong relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders.
- Experience in selling data or SaaS products, particularly in the crypto space.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with DeFi protocols or crypto exchanges.
- Familiarity with using AI tools for research and outreach.
- Informal leadership experience, such as mentoring or shaping team processes.
