Senior Account Executive - GTM for AI-native Payroll Solutions
About the Role
We're hiring a Senior Account Executive - GTM to join our innovative team at Valeria. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of HR and payroll solutions in Spain. As a Senior Account Executive, you will be pivotal in building our outbound sales engine from the ground up. This role is not about following a polished playbook; instead, you will be writing it as you go. Your contributions will directly influence how we go to market and the shape of our early customer base.
What You'll Do
- Own the full-cycle outbound sales process: Prospect, qualify, demo, negotiate, and close deals without any handoffs.
- Build a sales pipeline from scratch: Design and execute creative outreach strategies through cold calls, LinkedIn, email sequences, and events.
- Shape the sales playbook: Collaborate directly with founders to refine messaging, positioning, pricing, and objection handling.
- Develop relationships with decision-makers: Build trust with HR leaders, CFOs, and operations managers in high-turnover industries.
- Consistently hit and exceed sales targets: Define quotas based on market feedback and growth goals.
- Be a cultural builder: Set the tone for ambition, speed, accountability, and customer obsession as we scale the sales team.
- Provide product insights: Relay customer pain points that will influence our product roadmap.
Requirements
- 5+ years of B2B outbound/full-cycle sales experience, preferably in SaaS or tech-enabled services.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas in a hunter role.
- Strong cold calling skills; this role is not inbound-driven.
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: Comfortable with ambiguity and building processes from scratch.
- High ownership and bias to action: You make things happen without waiting for perfect conditions.
Nice to Have
- Catalan fluency, as many target customers are based in Catalonia.
- English proficiency for internal communication and future expansion.
- Experience selling to HR, Finance, or Operations leaders in mid-market companies.
- Background in high-velocity sales environments.
- Familiarity with complex, compliance-heavy products.
