Senior DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure Solutions

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team at LendingClub. As a Senior DevOps Engineer remote, you will play a crucial role in building and supporting the applications and infrastructure that enable our teams to deploy, operate, and monitor mission-critical services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment and influence the strategy and direction of our infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Build applications and infrastructure to enable LendingClub to deliver high-quality software quickly.
• Develop monitoring and alerting infrastructure that is scalable and easy to maintain.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to investigate and resolve production issues.
• Ensure uptime and performance SLAs are met.
• Collaborate with operations, security, and engineering teams to create self-service frameworks that enhance platform stability, reduce risk, and control costs.
• Work across the full infrastructure stack including design, architecture, capacity planning, monitoring, alerting, security, scaling, failover, and recovery.
• Partner with engineering teams on new feature rollouts.
• Troubleshoot issues independently and support engineers via shared channels such as Slack.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience operating enterprise-class infrastructure.
• 5+ years of coding experience in an object-oriented language such as Java or Python.
• Strong experience with AWS, including IAM, EC2, ASG, ELB/ALB, AMI, EBS, VPC, S3, Route53, CodeDeploy, ECR, API Gateway, and Bedrock.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes/EKS, containers, and Helm.
• Experience with Grafana and Prometheus.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and support other engineers.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with agentic frameworks and MCP tools.
• Experience using AI to improve output quality.
