About the Role

We are looking to hire a Purchasing/Logistics Associate for UK operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while being based in Thessaloniki, Greece. As a Purchasing/Logistics Associate, you will play a crucial role in our logistics operations, ensuring that our processes run smoothly and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Register and maintain packing lists accurately to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Systematically photograph and file documentation for easy retrieval.
• Handle Verified Gross Mass (VGM) and Shipping Instructions (SI) to ensure all shipments meet regulatory requirements.
• Communicate shipment and order details effectively to suppliers, ensuring clarity and timeliness.
• Prepare and follow up on transport orders, coordinating with various stakeholders.
• Support in closing shipments and managing clearances to facilitate smooth operations.
• Coordinate with forwarders and customs agents to ensure all customs procedures and required documents are in order.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards of operational excellence.

Requirements

• A degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in a similar position within the purchases or shipping industry.
• Excellent command of English; proficiency is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• A customer-centric approach with a focus on service quality.
• Critical thinking skills and the ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
