Scrum Master - Agile Leadership in FinTech

About the Role
Join us as a Scrum Master remote at Addendum Group, a global software development and IT team augmentation firm focusing on fintech, banking, and telco industries. In this role, you'll drive Agile delivery within a large-scale IT project, ensuring strong team collaboration and operational leadership.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate key Scrum ceremonies including refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Drive Agile discipline, backlog transparency, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Lead the IT stream by planning and coordinating vendor/internal development teams to ensure delivery commitments.
- Support roadmap planning, milestone tracking, and integration across multiple delivery streams.
- Report on sprint progress, risks, dependencies, and impediments to stakeholders.
- Remove blockers and foster accountability while coaching teams and stakeholders in Agile practices.
Requirements
- 3 - 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in complex, multi-team environments.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, or similar scaling frameworks).
- Hands-on experience in IT development projects, ideally in banking, financial services, or enterprise systems.
- Proven leadership skills in backlog management, planning, and delivery tracking.
- Excellent facilitation, stakeholder management, and communication skills (English and Latvian required).
- Ability to adapt Agile practices pragmatically to fit project needs.
- Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable with complexity, ambiguity, and change.
Nice to Have
- Experience with additional Agile methodologies.
- Certifications in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Jira or Trello.
