Salesforce QA Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are looking for a Salesforce QA Engineer remote to join our dynamic team at Application House. As a Salesforce QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Salesforce solutions. This position is fully remote and offers flexible working hours, making it an ideal opportunity for those seeking a part-time role.

What You'll Do

• Design comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing on Salesforce applications.
• Execute both manual and automated test cases across multiple Salesforce environments.
• Document defects clearly and track them through resolution using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Conduct manual exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability issues.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and business validation testing.
• Validate data accuracy using SOQL queries and Salesforce reports.
• Test user permissions, roles, and sharing rules.
• Perform integration testing with external systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Stripe, Twilio APIs).
• Ensure end-to-end regression coverage for Lightning components and Salesforce UI.
• Collaborate with developers to identify automation candidates during sprint planning.
• Integrate test execution within CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, or Jenkins.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in software testing, particularly with Salesforce.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce features, workflows, validation rules, and security model.
• Experience with test management tools and solid understanding of the software testing lifecycle.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and version control tools (Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket).
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice to Have

• Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder.
• Experience with automation tools like UTAM, Selenium, or Provar.
• Understanding of Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) and UI selectors.
