Sales Team Lead - Remote Position for Financial Consulting
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Sales Team Lead to join our team at Tide. This Sales Team Lead remote position is crucial for driving our market success in Germany, where we aim to support SMEs with their financing needs. As a Sales Team Lead remote, you will lead and develop a team of financing consultants dedicated to helping German SMEs navigate their financial challenges.
What You'll Do
- Take responsibility for KPIs, monitoring and managing your team's pipeline activities and deal progress to achieve sales targets.
- Ensure your team maximizes conversion rates by utilizing all available financing products from our partners.
- Build, lead, mentor, and develop your team of SME financing consultants to meet and exceed performance goals.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture, serving as a role model and demonstrating resilience in times of ambiguity and uncertainty.
- Coach, provide feedback, and offer appropriate training to improve the sales effectiveness and product knowledge of your team.
- Collaborate closely with key contacts from our commercial credit partners to build and maintain operational relationships.
- Work closely with the Head of Commercials and management to align team objectives with company goals.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and conversion rates.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of direct leadership experience in a team, preferably in the German or another German-speaking market.
- At least 5 years of experience in a customer-facing sales role within the financial services sector, ideally in financing, lending, or credit brokering.
- Fluent in German and English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding revenue-based targets.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and set clear expectations and goals.
- Detail-oriented and determined, with a results-driven mindset.
- Strong problem-solving skills, capable of resolving issues quickly and effectively.
- Proficient in CRM systems and analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
