Sales & Marketing Coordinator - Hospitality Focus
About the Role
We are seeking a Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join our team at the Ecumenical Institute located at the Château de Bossey. This role is pivotal in promoting Bossey’s brand and maximizing revenue through strategic sales and marketing initiatives. As a Sales & Marketing Coordinator remote, you will engage in both sales and marketing responsibilities, making this an ideal position for a motivated professional who enjoys relationship building and creative promotion.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, tour operators, and event organizers.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase room occupancy, banquets, and event bookings.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, presentations, and contracts to potential clients.
- Conduct regular sales calls, site inspections, and client follow-ups.
- Maintain an updated database of clients and prospects using CRM tools.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by management.
- Coordinate with the WCC communication department to ensure a unified strategy and positioning.
- Manage the hotel’s social media platforms and digital presence, including Facebook, Instagram, and Google.
- Monitor online reviews and reputation, responding promptly and professionally to feedback.
- Prepare monthly sales and marketing reports for management review.
Requirements
- 3–4 years of experience in hotel sales, marketing, or hospitality-related roles.
- Education in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in French and English; knowledge of German is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with hotel systems.
- Creative thinking with a basic understanding of digital marketing tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice to Have
- Experience in small/medium-sized hotels.
- Knowledge of online booking platforms like Booking.com and Expedia.
- Flexible to work outside regular hours when required.
