Safety Officer - Workplace Safety and Fire Protection (Remote)

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Safety Officer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will ensure that workplace safety and fire protection are not just concepts but are actively implemented every day. Your efforts will create safe work environments, protect individuals, and ensure that our operations run smoothly through clear processes and preventive measures.

What You'll Do

• Actively shape workplace safety and provide competent advice on environmental management.
• Take responsibility for fire protection, effectively implement guidelines, and ensure safety in daily operations.
• Conduct fire protection inspections with a vigilant eye and organize evacuation and emergency drills with foresight.
• Identify risks early, conduct thorough hazard assessments, and develop effective action plans.
• Strengthen employees and supervisors in safe practices through practical safety and fire protection training.
• Approach workplace accident investigations systematically and develop sustainable improvements in collaboration with line managers.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training with EFZ (electrical/mechanical).
• Further education as a specialist in occupational safety and health with a federal diploma and certified fire protection qualification or willingness to obtain it.
• High level of communication skills across multiple hierarchical levels.
• Good IT skills (SAP, Office 365).
• Very good oral and written German language skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a similar role within the HealthTech industry.
• Knowledge of international safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
