Rock & Pop Music Teacher - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Rock & Pop Music Teacher to join our team at iRock School of Music. This exciting opportunity allows you to inspire young musicians while working remotely. As a Rock & Pop Music Teacher, you will lead engaging band sessions that boost children's confidence and creativity.

What You'll Do

• Lead fun, high-energy band sessions for groups of primary-aged children across multiple schools each week.
• Teach various instruments including drums, keyboard, guitar, bass, and vocals, with confidence in at least two of them.
• Build warm, positive relationships with pupils, parents, and school staff.
• Help children prepare for their live performances, fostering their musical talents.
• Carry out light daily admin tasks (around 30 minutes per day) to support the learning environment.
• Support learners working towards entry-level RSL music awards.
• Set up and pack away equipment as part of the daily routine.

Requirements

• Competent in at least two instruments (Drums, Guitar, Keys, and Vocals).
• Friendly, upbeat, and able to connect quickly with both children and adults.
• Passionate about inspiring children through music.
• Organized and comfortable managing a varied weekly timetable.
• Reliable and dedicated to providing each child with a great experience.
• A clear communicator who adapts easily to different environments.
• Comfortable with the physical side of the job, including moving equipment.
• Full UK driving license and your own vehicle (essential).

Nice to Have

• Experience in teaching music to children.
• Knowledge of music theory and composition.
• Ability to play additional instruments.
