It’s an exciting time to join us as a Risk Partnerships Commercial Manager - Remote! We’re entering new markets, developing new technologies, and moving step by step towards our goal of exciting the world. As our business grows, the number of exciting people initiatives grows with it, and we’re looking for a new colleague to partner with our team to bring these to life. Your mission is to design, source, and manage the Risk (KYC, AML, Fraud, and Payments) third-party partner landscape in collaboration with our Product leaders, allowing us to onboard players globally while remaining fully compliant with local regulations and international standards. You will turn “compliance costs” into a competitive commercial advantage. This is a strategic role that blends financial compliance with partnerships and business strategy.
What You'll Do
- Strategic Partner Landscaping & Selection: Map the global RegTech landscape to identify best-in-class providers for ID verification (OCR/Biometrics), Sanctions/PEP screening, and behavioral fraud detection.
- End-to-End RFPs: Lead the Request for Proposal (RFP) process—from gathering technical requirements from the internal teams to final partner selection.
- Gap Analysis: Constantly evaluate our current portfolio against new territory requirements to identify necessary new partners.
- Commercial & Contract Management: Drive hard-line negotiations on unit pricing, tiered volume discounts, implementation fees, and terms such as SLAs and liabilities.
- Contract Lifecycle: Manage renewals and terminations, ensuring we are never locked into underperforming tech.
- Operational Excellence & Integration: Own the Partner performance engagement—ensuring tracking against KPIs such as KYC Pass Rates, False Positives, and API Latency.
- Workflow Design: Collaborate with Product and Partner to ensure continual optimization and a frictionless experience within the player journey.
- Troubleshooting: Act as the senior escalation point for partner service issues.
- Ongoing Partner Management: Hold partners accountable through rigorous Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), ensuring their roadmaps align with our growth strategy.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in iGaming, Fintech, or Payments.
- Ability to discuss API documentation with a Developer, unit economics with a CFO, and AML Policy with a MLRO.
- Proven experience running complex software tenders and scoring models.
- Technical familiarity with the difference between “Document Verification” and “Database Verification” and when to use each.
- CAMS or ICA certifications are highly regarded.
