Rental Return Agent - Remote Opportunities in Customer Service

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Rental Return Agent to join our team at Avis Budget Group. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage directly with customers in a dynamic environment. As a Rental Return Agent, you will be responsible for inspecting vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a well-organized rental area. This position is ideal for those who enjoy working with cars and providing excellent service.

What You'll Do

• Welcome customers returning rental vehicles and assist them with the return process.
• Inspect vehicles for damages and document findings using appropriate tools.
• Communicate additional charges to customers and obtain signatures on rental agreements.
• Provide directions and travel information to customers as needed.
• Ensure vehicles are ready for the next rental by conducting thorough checks.
• Maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork efficiently.
• Handle customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure a clean and organized rental car area at all times.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Proficient with mobile devices, tablets, and apps.
• Strong customer service orientation with a professional demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service, preferably in hospitality, retail, or car rental.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the automotive industry.

• Fluency in additional languages.
