Remote Workers Compensation Product Manager - Insurtech Focus

About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Workers Compensation Product Manager to join our innovative team at Integrated Specialty Coverages (ISC). As a leader in the Insurtech space, ISC is redefining the insurance market by merging technology with traditional insurance practices. In this role, you will focus on optimizing our Workers Compensation segment, collaborating with various teams to enhance operational efficiency and drive premium production.

What You'll Do

• Lead product management for the Workers Compensation segment, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Collaborate with underwriting, technology, and finance teams to optimize MGA gross margin.
• Analyze and report on premiums, losses, and trends using SQL and Python for data analysis.
• Monitor and manage rating plans and policy forms to ensure compliance with state laws and regulations.
• Develop product scorecards to track performance indicators and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Conduct market analysis to exploit competitive advantages and optimize financial results.
• Utilize strong analytical skills to balance various metrics and drive decision-making.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project success.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in P&C insurance product management.
• Familiarity with P&C insurance policy and claims processes.
• Experience with Workers Comp bureaus and rating organizations.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, and data reporting tools.
• Understanding of actuarial fundamentals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• BA/BS degree in a quantitative discipline preferred; CPCU or actuarial exams are a plus.

• Experience in Insurtech or technology-driven insurance environments.
• Familiarity with AI/ML applications in insurance.
