Remote Video Editor - Join Our Creative Team

About the Role

We're hiring a Remote Video Editor to join Circle's Design Studio. In this role, you will own the editorial backbone of our video production pipeline, turning raw footage into finished stories that build trust with professional audiences. As a Remote Video Editor, you'll work closely with our video producers, who handle pre-production, scripting, and recording, as well as our animator, who manages motion graphics and UI sequences. You will be responsible for finding the story in messy raw material, shaping the narrative, setting pacing, and delivering a locked cut ready for animation.

What You'll Do

• Transform raw footage into engaging video content that resonates with our audience.
• Collaborate with video producers and animators to ensure a cohesive final product.
• Manage the editing process from start to finish, including color correction and audio mixing.
• Deliver high-quality brand videos, including product launches and customer stories.
• Work asynchronously with a global team, documenting your processes for clarity and collaboration.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
• Strong storytelling skills and an eye for detail in pacing and narrative structure.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in color grading and audio editing is a plus.
