We are hiring a Remote Staff Software Engineer to join our growing team at Temporal Technologies. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our infrastructure, focusing on observability to ensure our applications are reliable and efficient. What You'll Do

• Lead the end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle, including goals & requirements solicitation, design & review, implementation, operationalization & deployment, and support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the developer experience and ensure the reliability of our software.
• Contribute to the open-source community by developing high-quality software that simplifies code and improves application reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and help them grow their skills in software development and best practices.
• Drive the adoption of observability tools and practices within the team and across the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on infrastructure and observability.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Java, or Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with open-source software development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
