What You'll Do

  • Design, implement, and maintain data systems that enhance company operations, focusing on ETL processes, data modeling, and analytics readiness.
  • Collaborate with leadership, DevOps, research, and customer support teams to ensure efficient and secure data flows.
  • Take ownership of data engineering solutions, working independently while also being a proactive communicator across teams.
  • Utilize your advanced programming skills in Python to develop robust data pipelines.
  • Leverage your experience with Apache Airflow to manage workflows effectively.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles.
  • Advanced programming skills in Python.
  • Solid hands-on experience with Apache Airflow (MWAA is a big plus).
  • Experience with Snowflake and strong SQL skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of solutions.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Google Cloud).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
  • Knowledge of data quality and observability best practices.
