Remote Security Researcher - Web3 Security Focus

About the Role

We are expanding our research capability and looking for a Remote Security Researcher to investigate emerging attack vectors, develop internal tooling, and contribute to public security advisories. As a Remote Security Researcher, you will work at the frontier of Web3 security — analyzing new protocols, building custom detection systems, and pushing the boundaries of what automated analysis can catch.

What You'll Do

• Conduct in-depth research on emerging security threats and vulnerabilities in the Web3 ecosystem.
• Develop and enhance internal security tools to improve detection and response capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create public security advisories and reports.
• Analyze new protocols and technologies to identify potential security risks.
• Push the boundaries of automated analysis by developing innovative detection systems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in security research or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Web3 technologies, including blockchain and decentralized applications.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Go.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and tools used in the industry.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with smart contract auditing.
• Knowledge of cryptographic protocols and their applications.
• Public speaking or writing experience in the security community.
