Remote School Psychologist - Mental Health Focus
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Remote School Psychologist to join our team at Point Quest Group. In this role, you will provide essential psychological support to students, focusing on their mental health and educational needs. As a Remote School Psychologist, you will work closely with educators and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide crisis support when necessary.
What You'll Do
- Maintain a caseload of students requiring DIS counseling and provide tailored psychological support based on their IEPs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create evidence-based interventions and strategies for student success.
- Provide crisis support during emergencies and train school staff on mental health and behavior management techniques.
- Document and report on assessments, interventions, and student progress, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
- Participate in team meetings to review student interventions and contribute to the planning process.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid Department of Education School Psychologist Certification in the state of California.
- Successful completion of a Department of Justice/FBI Background Check or equivalent.
- TB Clearance and eligibility to work in the United States.
- Preferred: Certification from the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).
- Prior experience working as a school psychologist is highly desirable.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
