Information Security Risk Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Risk Manager to join our team remotely. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to strengthening our company's information security risk portfolio. You will be responsible for managing information security risks within the corporate-wide risk framework, ensuring the security of our core systems and suppliers, and actively participating in the development of our security landscape. As an Information Security Risk Manager, you will make information security risks actionable for management—fact-based, understandable, and effective.

What You'll Do

• Establish, operate, and continuously develop the company-wide information security risk management.
• Create risk analyses, reports, dashboards, and presentations for management.
• Advise on risk treatment options, suitable controls (including monitoring implementation), and risk acceptance decisions.
• Build and operate the third-party security management process.
• Coordinate IT General Controls in collaboration with IT, Finance, and Internal Audit.
• Work with IT on topics such as SAP Security, logging, interfaces, and integrations (coordination and oversight, no system responsibility).

Requirements

• Higher education in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable technical field; certifications such as CISM, CRISC, or CISSP are advantageous.
• Several years of experience in information security or risk management, ideally in an international corporate environment.
• Solid knowledge of security frameworks, risk management, IT compliance, and technical security controls.
• Analytical, structured, and assertive personality with a high degree of self-responsibility.
• Very good English skills; German knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to convey complex issues in a target-oriented and understandable manner.
