Data Governance & Quality Analyst - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Data Governance & Quality Analyst to join our team at Cognizant. This remote position will allow you to play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and usability of data across our organization. You will support strategic and operational decision-making by implementing governance frameworks, validating data, and driving continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and validate real-time operational data across systems and dashboards.
• Build and maintain automated reports and KPI dashboards.
• Identify data inconsistencies and propose actionable improvements.
• Recommend improvements to data models and stewardship practices.
• Track data quality metrics and report anomalies.
• Automate data validation and reporting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data governance or data quality roles.
• Proficiency in SQL and Google Sheets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with data compliance standards (GDPR, CCPA).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Python and Google Apps Script.
