Remote RPG Developer - FinTech Solutions

About the Role

We are seeking two experienced Remote RPG Developers to join a high-growth global fintech firm known for its innovative banking solutions. As a Remote RPG Developer, you will be integral to developing and maintaining RPG applications that drive our financial technology offerings. This role allows you to work fully remote after an initial onboarding week in Åland, Finland, providing you with a unique opportunity to collaborate with a diverse team.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain RPG applications that meet the needs of our banking solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot and debug existing systems to enhance functionality.
• Perform unit and integration testing to ensure system reliability.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in RPGLE programming language.
• Proficiency with RPG, SQL, Encryption, TLS/SSL certificates, SSH, and IBMi MQ.
• Preferably knowledge of IBMi architecture, Jira, and Scrum/Agile methodologies.
• Desirable experience in programming languages other than RPG and knowledge of REST APIs.
• Excellent English skills, both oral and written.
• Domain knowledge of deposits (accounts) & banking.

Nice to Have

• Experience with additional programming languages.
• Familiarity with banking and fintech regulations.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies.
