Remote Operations Manager - Fast-Growth Food Brand
About the Role
We're hiring a Remote Operations Manager to lead our expansion efforts in Los Angeles. As a key player in our mission to redefine the food and beverage landscape, you'll be instrumental in launching and scaling our operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
What You'll Do
- Design and execute the full market entry strategy for Blank Street in Los Angeles.
- Build the operational plan, hire and develop the founding team, and create scalable systems.
- Oversee the successful opening and day-to-day performance of our first LA store as its General Manager for the first 6–12 months.
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team of Baristas and Shift Leads.
- Establish the gold standard for customer experience and operational excellence.
- Take full ownership of the store's financial and operational performance.
- As we expand to 7+ stores within the first year, evolve into a multi-unit Operations Manager overseeing the entire LA portfolio.
- Hire and mentor future General Managers, implement operational playbooks, and drive accountability across locations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role in a high-growth environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing teams.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for operational excellence.
- Experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
