Remote Nursing Manager - Home Care Services
About the Role
We are seeking a Remote Nursing Manager to lead the establishment and operation of a newly founded home care service in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. In this role, you will take on overall responsibility for the professional, organizational, and personnel aspects of the service, ensuring compliance with legal requirements under SGB V and SGB XI. What You'll Do
- Assume the role of the responsible nursing professional according to § 71 SGB XI.
- Ensure high-quality care and proper service delivery.
- Lead and organize the home care service, managing nursing professionals and assistants.
- Oversee care processes, care planning, and documentation.
- Prepare, accompany, and follow up on audits (MD, cost bearers, authorities).
- Implement and develop quality, hygiene, and organizational standards.
- Represent the nursing service to cost bearers, authorities, and partners.
Requirements
- Completed training as a state-recognized nursing professional (e.g., elderly care, health and nursing).
- At least 2 years of professional experience in nursing, with a minimum of 1 year within the last 5 years.
- Recognized leadership qualification (nursing management) with at least 460 hours of training.
- Strong knowledge of legal frameworks (SGB V, SGB XI, NRW framework contracts).
- Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken.
- Leadership skills, organizational ability, and a sense of responsibility.
Nice to Have
- Experience in managing a home care service.
- Familiarity with digital health tools.
- Additional certifications in quality management.
