About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Remote Mainframe COBOL Programmer to join our dynamic team. What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain COBOL applications on mainframe systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Perform system analysis and debugging to resolve issues efficiently.
- Utilize CICS, ADABAS, and VSAM for data management and application development.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices in software development.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Mainframe COBOL Programmer in a remote setting.
- Proficient in COBOL, CICS, ADABAS, and VSAM.
- Strong understanding of IBM JCL and mainframe systems programming.
- Experience with SQL Server and Azure SQL Database.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with SAP FI and project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of public cloud technologies.
- Experience in data modeling and Master Data Management (MDM).
