About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Remote Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our team specializing in Business Immigration Law. In this role, you will support our legal team by managing case documentation, client correspondence, and legal research. As a Remote Legal Assistant/Paralegal, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our clients receive exceptional service while navigating the complexities of U.S. immigration law.

What You'll Do

• Assist attorneys in preparing and filing immigration petitions and applications, including H-1B and TN visas.
• Draft legal documents and correspondence related to business immigration matters.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and client inquiries.
• Manage case files and maintain organized documentation for all immigration cases.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case status.
• Utilize tools such as Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Suite for document preparation and management.
• Support the team in administrative tasks and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal, preferably in immigration law.
• Strong understanding of U.S. immigration processes and documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management software.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Nice to Have

• Experience with case management software.
• Knowledge of PERM and I-140 processes.
• Familiarity with legal writing and research methodologies.
