About the Role

We are seeking a Regional Head of Financial Operations - Airfreight & LCL to join our team at Maersk. This remote role is pivotal in redefining global logistics by integrating ocean, land, air, and digital solutions. You will provide financial leadership that drives clarity, accountability, and informed decision-making across the business while supporting sustainable growth and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

• Oversee regional cost accrual and billing accuracy, ensuring operational and financial data integrity.
• Lead initiatives to minimize revenue leakage, optimize shipment margins, and reduce unbilled or uncollected revenue.
• Act as the key link between Finance, Airfreight Operations, and LCL Operations.
• Support digital transformation initiatives in financial automation and cost allocation tools.
• Drive country standardization of finance-related processes globally.
• Lead regional operational financial oversight for Airfreight and LCL P&L, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Partner with regional leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
• Provide actionable insights regarding profitability drivers and trade lane performance.

Requirements

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in financial or commercial operations within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
• Deep understanding of Airfreight and LCL operational drivers.
• Mastery of margin management, costing, and revenue assurance.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate complex matrix organizations and influence decisions.
