R&D Technician - Remote Position at TE Connectivity

About the Role

We are seeking an R&D Technician to join our innovative team at TE Connectivity. In this remote position, you will unleash your potential while collaborating with diverse professionals to create a safer, sustainable, and more connected world. As an R&D Technician, you will perform comprehensive design and testing of samples, prototypes, products, components, and work-in-progress with minimal supervision.

What You'll Do

• Conduct testing on moderately complex components, products, or systems under development for conformity to specifications and proper functioning.
• Document and analyze results, and re-test as appropriate to ensure quality standards are met.
• Guide and assist less experienced technicians to help them meet or exceed established performance goals.
• Develop advanced CAD models to support product development initiatives.
• Utilize complex instruments, testing equipment, and gauges in your work to test, study, report, and provide recommendations for continual product or process improvement.

Requirements

• Typically requires 4-5 years of related work experience in R&D or a similar field.
• A high school diploma is required; completion of an AA degree or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong competencies in integrity, accountability, inclusion, innovation, and teamwork.
• Experience with CAD software and testing methodologies is essential.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
