R&D Lab Technician - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for an R&D Lab Technician to join our team remotely. In this role, you will carry out laboratory tests and trials to evaluate the performance of products, raw materials, and new innovations, ensuring reliable and high-quality results. As an R&D Lab Technician, you will be a key contributor to R&D projects, working in compliance with recognized standards and Ontex Quality Systems.

What You'll Do

• Perform product and raw material testing.
• Create and test prototypes and development samples.
• Test own and competitor products.
• Record, document, and manage laboratory data.
• Manage incoming/outgoing samples and R&D shipments.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Optimize internal test methods.
• Support the management of aging rooms.
• Train QA lab teams at production sites.
• Support technical customer lab visits.

Requirements

• Vocational training as a Laboratory Technician or similar technical background (or equivalent experience).
• At least 2 years of experience in a laboratory or quality control environment.
• Spanish and English proficiency (minimum A2, B1 level is a plus).
• Good command of MS Office and digital tools.
• An organized, detail-oriented, flexible professional with the ability to work under pressure.

• Experience with laboratory testing equipment.
• Knowledge of quality control standards.
• Familiarity with product innovation processes.
