Quality Engineering Lead - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Engineering Lead to join our dynamic team at h3 Technologies, LLC. This remote opportunity allows you to lead test automation strategies while working from the comfort of your home. As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will play a pivotal role in defining and driving the overall test automation strategy and roadmap.

What You'll Do

• Lead test design activities, including creating test scenarios, test cases, and coverage strategies across UI, API, and integration layers.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks utilizing data-driven, keyword-driven, and hybrid approaches.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Oversee both manual and automated test execution, providing clear status updates, risk assessments, and quality reporting to leadership.
• Review automation code, enforce coding standards, and drive framework governance.
• Mentor and guide automation engineers, enhancing their skills and promoting best practices within the team.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of total experience, with at least 2 years in test automation using tools like Selenium or BDD frameworks.
• Proficient in Backend API validation using RestAssured, Postman, or Karate.
• Strong Java coding skills with hands-on experience in developing automation scripts.
• Experience in CI/CD pipeline integration with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with LLM agent integration for enhanced test planning.

Nice to Have

• ISTQB or Advanced Test Automation certifications.
• Experience with Mainframe/AS400 (iSeries) testing.
• Knowledge of advanced functional testing methodologies.
