Quality Engineer - Remote Position at Danfoss

About the Role

Join Danfoss as a Quality Engineer in a remote capacity, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring product quality in manufacturing and assembly processes. This position is essential for collaborating with customers, suppliers, and internal production teams to implement, monitor, and continuously improve quality tools and processes.

What You'll Do

• Ensure the proper use of quality tools (FMEA, MSA, SPC, CP, 8D, etc.) across all relevant manufacturing and change processes.
• Participate in audits (product, process, QMS) and support processes related to exceptions, risk assessments, and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate and verify the implementation of corrective actions in cases of discrepancies and customer complaints.
• Support and manage processes related to documenting PPAP – internal, customer, and supplier.
• Coordinate change management processes to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Analyze production data, identify trends, and support the definition of goals for continuous improvement.
• Manage project risks during the design and development of processes and products, ensuring quality assurance in development and series production - APQP.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing or quality.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949:2016 and quality tools (FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, PPAP, APQP).
• Analytical thinking and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Proficient in English and active knowledge of Slovak.
• Familiarity with MS Office, Outlook, and SAP.
• Proactive approach and initiative in improving quality processes.

Nice to Have

• Experience with continuous improvement and change management tools.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems.
• Experience in preparing and conducting audits.
