About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Control Lead remote to join our Infrastructure division at Graham, an employee-owned construction solutions partner. As a Quality Control Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards in our industrial projects. With a commitment to safety and excellence, you will lead a team dedicated to delivering innovative solutions in the transit and transportation sectors.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate field inspection efforts to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain Quality Control records and facilitate productive communication with Field Execution Teams.
  • Raise and process non-conformance reports and corrective actions as required.
  • Utilize inspection and welding management database applications effectively.
  • Initiate actions to prevent occurrences of non-conformances relating to products and processes.
  • Recommend improvements to the Quality Management System and implement changes in conjunction with the Lead Quality Inspector.
  • Develop Inspection and Test Plans based on the scope of work.
  • Prepare reports specific to the Quality department functions as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or industry-related trade certification/diploma.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of inspection-related experience.
  • Experience with pressure piping, pressure equipment, and rotating equipment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of dimensional inspection techniques and NDE processes.
  • Computer proficiency in Excel, MS Word, Bluebeam, and SharePoint.
  • Personal commitment to safety and compliance with standard pre-employment checks.

Nice to Have

  • Completion of a recognized Mechanical Technologist or Engineering degree.
  • AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
  • Familiarity with API 510, API 570, API 653 standards.
