What You'll Do

• Lead project planning and feasibility studies for data center construction, focusing on cost control and reviewing architectural plans.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and data center standards across Europe.
• Coordinate architectural design efforts and collaborate with local teams to review construction plans.
• Oversee product selection and equipment bidding, ensuring that designs align with project specifications.
• Facilitate communication with stakeholders, including consultants, owners, government bodies, suppliers, and contractors involved in EMEA projects.
• Supervise construction to ensure adherence to project plans and maintain high-quality standards.
• Manage project tracking and documentation, addressing changes as necessary throughout the construction phase.
• Support DayOne’s standardization efforts for architectural items, ensuring consistency across projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in contract management and understanding engineering contracts.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve on-site issues related to civil construction.
• Experience in organizing project acceptance stages and ensuring proper handover of completed projects.
• Ability to assess material specifications and pricing applications effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience in data center construction projects.
