Quality Assurance Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at SpotOn. This Quality Assurance Engineer remote position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team that is passionate about providing innovative solutions for independent restaurants. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products, which are designed to help restaurant operators succeed.

What You'll Do

• Test current products and identify deficiencies to enhance user experience.
• Review requirements, design documents, and acceptance criteria to create comprehensive test plans.
• Collaborate with Product and Development teams to ensure consistent project execution.
• Investigate product quality and suggest improvements for better customer satisfaction.
• Manage the overall Quality Planning strategy and identify process bottlenecks.
• Work independently on multiple tasks while effectively managing your time and priorities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer.
• Attention to detail across platforms, including web and native mobile apps.
• Experience in writing test cases and using test case management software, such as TestRail.
• Proficient in using bug tracking tools, such as Jira.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English (minimum B2 level).

Nice to Have

• Experience testing APIs using Postman.
• Familiarity with proxy tools like Charles and monitoring tools like Grafana.
• Experience with automated testing tools, such as Kotlin automation in Espresso.
• Experience in Banking/Financial, Retail, or Restaurant domains is preferable.
