About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Route Manager to join our dynamic team at Schneider, a leading logistics and transit company. What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain a robust client portfolio, ensuring long-term relationships.
• Identify new business opportunities and acquire new clients to enhance our market presence.
• Understand client needs to propose tailored transportation solutions.
• Lead pricing negotiations for both purchasing and sales to achieve performance and profitability targets.
• Coordinate operations closely with the operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Guarantee client satisfaction through quality follow-up and effective dispute management.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a transport commission role within Europe.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in a second European language is a significant advantage.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in client acquisition.
• Active and valued client portfolio is preferred.
• Proficient in pricing strategies from cost determination to sales pricing.
• Excellent command of office tools, particularly Word and Excel.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to manage your activities efficiently.

Nice to Have

• Experience in international logistics and freight forwarding.
• Knowledge of additional software tools related to logistics management.
