Purchase Ledger Clerk - Remote Position

About the Role

We are now recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk remote to join our busy team supporting the Health Assessment Advisory Service (HAAS) at Capita. This is a remote role, on a 6-month fixed-term contract. As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.

What You'll Do

• Accurately code and process a high volume of payments for medical records received.
• Code and process other accounts payable invoices for authorization to be posted to SAP.
• Check the accuracy of claimant expenses before processing for payment within the agreed SLA.
• Process payments through the Post Office Portal to ensure SLAs are achieved.
• Respond professionally and timely to all queries from internal or external sources received by telephone or email.
• Raise invoices and credit notes as necessary.
• Ensure a full understanding of all processes to provide accurate responses to all queries.
• Notify potential issues within the process to the line manager.

Requirements

• Essential experience in volume processing.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Accurate and fast inputting skills.
• Flexible and open to change.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Desirable: Experience using SAP.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a similar role within a health or financial services environment.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
