Project Manager for Construction and Maintenance - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager for Construction and Maintenance to join our team at Bethanien Diakonissen-Stiftung. This Project Manager role will be pivotal in leading and managing construction and maintenance projects remotely, ensuring that our facilities continue to serve the community effectively.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage construction and maintenance projects, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and timeline objectives.
• Coordinate with internal and external project partners to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Conduct site inspections to assess conditions and derive appropriate actions for improvements.
• Oversee project handovers, track defects, and manage warranty claims efficiently.
• Plan and implement maintenance and modernization measures across our facilities.
• Engage in a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall mission of the organization.
• Utilize your analytical skills to solve problems and support team collaboration.
• Travel for site visits as needed, typically for day trips.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent qualifications.
• Knowledge of construction and procurement law.
• Experience in developing and constructing facilities, especially with public funding.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Flexibility and openness to new challenges.
• Structured and solution-oriented working style.
• Valid Class B driver's license.
• Willingness to travel for site visits.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the healthcare sector or non-profit organizations.
• Familiarity with project management software.
• Strong communication skills in both German and English.
