Program Manager, Quality - Human Data for AI
About the Role
We are seeking a talented Program Manager for Quality to join our team at Mercor. In this remote Program Manager, Quality role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of AI by managing quality processes for human data. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of researchers and operators to ensure the highest standards in our data deliverables.
What You'll Do
- Own quality programs for designated accounts or projects in various human data domains.
- Manage outcomes end-to-end for quality programs, from initial brainstorming to final delivery of audit results.
- Develop automated technical solutions to evaluate the quality of datasets and proactively identify issues.
- Identify opportunities for automation and technical simplification using LLMs, databases, and scripting.
- Devise systems to evaluate auditor and human data talent performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Regularly report on quality metrics and KPIs to inform company operations and strategy.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering and account operations to meet SLAs for high-priority projects.
- Help hire and maintain a 30+ auditor workforce, coaching specialists to achieve impactful outcomes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in managing high-impact technical and operational outcomes.
- Strong results-driven mindset with experience in building systems from scratch.
- Excellent communication skills across leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to develop scalable solutions for complex operational problems.
- Robust project management experience, managing distributed teams effectively.
- A data-first approach to problem-solving with strong analytical abilities.

- STEM background.
- Experience with LLMs, databases, and scripting.
- Experience in developing and growing a distributed workforce.
- Professional experience in a high-growth startup or fast-paced tech environment.
