Product Owner - Remote Pharmacy Platform Development

About the Role

We are seeking a Product Owner to support the development of a new pharmacy management platform being built from the ground up for a national specialty pharmacy organization. This Product Owner remote role will own a dedicated development pod responsible for designing and delivering core pharmacy workflows within the system.

What You’ll Do

• Lead a Development Pod: Manage a pod consisting of a Tech Lead, 3–4 developers, and a QA engineer.
• Define Pharmacy Workflows: Translate pharmacy operations into technical requirements, ensuring workflows support the full prescription lifecycle.
• Manage the Product Backlog: Maintain strong story hygiene and ensure tickets are properly tracked using Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with engineers, QA, Scrum Masters, and project leadership to ensure smooth product rollout.
• Support Change Management: Work with pharmacy stakeholders to facilitate change management initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager within Agile teams.
• Strong stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to translate complex workflows into technical requirements and user stories.
• Experience working in pharmacy, healthcare, or healthcare technology is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Agile reporting tools.

• Understanding of pharmacy workflows or prescription lifecycle.
• Background working with enterprise systems or workflow-driven platforms.
