Product Analyst - Late-Game Content and Live Operations (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Product Analyst - Late-Game Content and Live Operations (Remote) to join our dynamic team at Scorewarrior. As a Product Analyst, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our popular MMO 4X strategy game, Total Battle, which boasts over 2 million monthly active players. Your insights will directly influence the late-game content and live operations that keep our players engaged and satisfied.

What You'll Do

• Analyze engagement, retention, progression, and monetization of late-game features such as seasonal kingdoms and holiday events.
• Design and validate product metrics and analytical events for new and iterated features.
• Plan, run, and interpret product experiments, including quasi-experiments and before/after analyses.
• Conduct product research to understand player behavior, motivations, and pain points in mature segments.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data marts to support decision-making within the Old Players team.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses to answer product and business questions.
• Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to designers and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong SQL skills and experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau or equivalents).
• Proven experience in product analytics and product research.
• Ability to design analytical events and metrics aligned with product goals.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Good communication skills and experience working closely with product and design teams.
• Confident knowledge of mathematical statistics and probability theory.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with ClickHouse.
• Experience analyzing long-lived or live-ops features in games.
• Understanding of F2P game economics and progression systems.
• Experience working with large player bases and complex event-driven systems.
• Hands-on experience with causal inference, A/B testing, and quasi-experimental methods.
