We are seeking a Principal Systems Engineer - Supplier Management Team (Remote) to join our innovative team at Northrop Grumman. What You'll Do

• Lead technical discussions and participate in technical planning, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
• Support testing and review processes, including approvals of test reports and procedures.
• Collaborate with other teams to verify specifications and designs through modeling, simulation, and performance analysis.
• Maintain design documentation and adhere to configuration management requirements.
• Interface with customers and subcontractors to ensure project success and compliance.
• Prepare and present technical reports to stakeholders, including technical boards.
• Support all phases of the systems life cycle, from concept through to disposal.
• Assist in planning and scheduling activities to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) with a minimum of 5 years of related experience, or 3 years with a master's degree.
• Active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance.
• 3 years of experience in Requirements Verification and tools such as DOORS.
• 2 years of experience with Model Based Systems Engineering and tools like Cameo.
• Experience in reviewing and approving test plans, procedures, and reports.

Nice to Have

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
• Prior Supplier Management experience in a development program.
• Experience in technical evaluations of supplier proposals and contract negotiations.
• Ability to create and monitor technical risks and opportunities.
