About the Role

We're seeking a talented Software Developer to join our team in the Grow & Engage domain. This Software Developer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative features that enhance the customer experience at N26. You'll be part of a dynamic team dedicated to creating a seamless entry into the N26 ecosystem.

What You'll Do

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from discovery through deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable microservices that meet business needs.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the applications you develop.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Experience developing software using JVM languages and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems.
• Knowledge of Kotlin is a plus.
• Solid understanding of microservice architecture.
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases, preferably Postgres.
• Experience working within modern cloud architectures, particularly AWS.
• Strong bias for action and a results-oriented mindset.
• Commitment to writing well-tested, well-documented code.
• Excellent communication skills for giving and receiving feedback.

Nice to Have

• Experience with security best practices.
• Understanding of agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
